CAR detailing

Detailing is all about bringing a vehicles condition back to its showroom best and protecting it for the future. The waxes and polishes applied to your vehicle can only give a floorless deep finish if the base paintwork is in as good a condition as possible. Over time the paintwork on your vehicle picks up light scratches, birdlime marks and general road contamination. The only way to remove these imperfections is to subject the paintwork of your vehicle to the process below. Details vary in time and the products used to give different levels of finish, but the basic process is the same. We will gladly talk you through the options so you get the finish you want.

Steam clean the exterior of the vehicle including the inner arches to remove as much of the dirt as possible. Wash the vehicle thoroughly with a PH neutral shampoo and specially formulated alloy wheel cleaner. Once this has been completed the vehicle needs to be completely dried off. A clay bar is then used to remove any fall out that remains on the bodywork leaving it free from contaminates and ready to start the correction process. The correction process involves using a rotary polisher with varying grades of cutting polish. Done correctly this removes the small scratches and imperfections and leaves the paint in a clean and in an unblemished state. The next stage is to polish the bodywork which gives the deep reflective quality back to the paint. After this is done it is time to protect the paint with a protective wax. We use Carnauba products, for us they are the greatest advancement in detailing products to hit the market.

The interior of a car is where you feel the difference of a detail.
